Description
Oil-Rite manufactures Lubrication Systems specifically to customer requirements. All systems are engineered, designed, manufactured and fully tested at Oil-Rite. This is an example of a custom built Circulating Oil System.
This Circulating Oil System has dual gear pumps, each providing 1 GPM maximum at 35 PSI. The dual 1/3 HP, 1200 RPM, TEFC motors are operated by single phase power at 115/230V 60Hz.
The 6 gallon capacity reservoir is constructed of welded steel. A top filler cap makes filling the reservoir quick and simple. The filler cap is equipped with an air filter and liquid strainer to help maintain liquid quality. A baffle in the tank separates sediment and reduces turbulence. There are (2) 1” female NPT returns and (2) 1/2” female NPT drains. Dual 100 mesh, stainless steel suction filters inside the reservoir filter larger debris.
A 10 micron, 1000 beta stainless steel filter features a spin-on element to facilitate simple cleaning and replacement.
This system also features a water cooled heat exchanger (tube bundled type) to help maintain a constant oil supply temperature.
Additional Features:
- An 8” centerline liquid level gage on the outside of the reservoir features a dial thermometer displaying temperatures from 0° to 250° F, allowing visual check of liquid level, condition, and temperature at a glance.
- A brass flow switch, set at .5 GPM and located near the system outlet.
- A pressure gage displaying 0 – 60 PSI, located near the system outlet.
- A differential pressure gage located across the filter
- (3) bronze check valves, one located after each pump and at the system outlet to ensure fluid flows in only one direction.
- A cast-iron bypass relief valve located near system outlet and used to set system pressure, adjustable from 7 to 35 PSI.
- A flow control valve, adjustable from 0 to 8 GPM
This custom built circulating oil system measures 42” by 18”. The overall height is approximately 34 1/4”. The system can be secured using (4) mounting holes located on the base of the unit.
All Circulating Oil Systems are quoted specifically to customer requirements. Pricing can be determined only after the Circulating Oil System Request Form (found on this page) is completed. Contact the bearing manufacturer for information on the flow rate and fluid required.
Delivery is dependent upon supplier availability, lead times range from 4 to 10 weeks.
