Description
Oil-Rite manufactures Lubrication Systems specifically to customer requirements. All systems are engineered, designed, manufactured and fully tested at Oil-Rite. This is an example of a custom built Circulating Oil System.
This oil system has a cast iron, gear pump providing 3 GPM. The ½ HP, 1750 RPM, TEFC motor is operated by three phase power at 230/460V 60Hz. The power is modulated by an AC micro drive with single phase input and three phase output. The micro drive is housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure.
A 23 micron filter located near the outlet helps maintain liquid quality. The filter features a spin-on element to facilitate simple cleaning and replacement. A water cooled heat exchanger helps maintain a constant oil supply temperature. A paddle wheel flow indicator is featured near the system outlet.
Additional controls include:
- A stainless steel vacuum gage located at the pump suction inlet, displaying 0-30” Hg.
- A 100 mesh stainless steel suction filter with aluminum housing near the system inlet to filter larger debris.
- A stainless steel pressure gage near the system outlet displaying 0-160 PSI.
- A check valve located at the system outlet to ensure fluid flows in only one direction.
- A stainless steel dial thermometer displaying 0° to 250° F.
All Circulating Oil Systems are quoted specifically to customer requirements. Pricing can be determined only after the Circulating Oil System Request Form (found on this page) is completed. Contact the bearing manufacturer for information on the flow rate and fluid required.
Delivery is dependent upon supplier availability, lead times range from 4 to 10 weeks.
