PurgeX® Infrared Lubrication System
PurgeX Infrared Lubrication System delivers precision lubrication, even to fast moving targets. The infrared photo sensor works together with the Programmable Logic Control (PLC) to apply fluid to critical areas - for instance, the pivot point of a chain. This precise and programmable method of lubrication minimizes fluid expense, prevents the detrimental effects of over-lubrication, and helps avoid the contamination and safety risks caused by excess lubricant.
Air, liquid and electrical connections are fully configured in a NEMA enclosure and allow for quick installation and ease of maintenance. A unit supplied with 6 PurgeX precision pumps will feed 6 lubrication points. The system can be equipped with up to 12 PurgeX pumps. Custom configurations are also available.
The PurgeX Infrared Lubrication System is versatile enough to be used for scheduled lubrication or as a part of an automated assembly line. Applications include: chain conveyors, packaging machines, lumber processing, food and beverage filling, folder/glue machines, printing/binding machines, assembly equipment, and robotics.
